SoftPing Privacy Policy

When you use SoftPing, we collect the information needed to create your account and deliver the app's core features:

• Your name or display name
• Your email address
• Your username and other account identifiers
• The content of SoftPings you send and receive
• Device, push-notification, and widget installation identifiers, which are required to deliver notifications and display widgets

• Creating and managing your account
• Connecting you with partners you choose to ping
• Sending and receiving SoftPings
• Storing your message history so you can view it in the app
• Displaying information in widgets
• Delivering notifications
• Security and the core operation of the app

SoftPing does not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or websites.

SoftPing uses Google Firebase services to provide authentication, database storage, backend functions, and push-notification support.

These service providers may process data on SoftPing's behalf in order to provide these functions.

You can delete your SoftPing account from within the app. The app's account-deletion flow removes associated account data handled by SoftPing, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security, or operational purposes.

SoftPing is not intended for children under 13.

This policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change.
